VOGUE DIPLOMA FRAME

What is old is new again!  

 There has been a trend, by some of our clients, to move toward a black metal diploma frame because it looks more like the document frames consumers are used to.

 In that same vein, Tempo has the Vogue Diploma Frame which is a black metal diploma frame with a wider contemporary looking moulding. The Vogue Diploma Frame comes supplied with an ultra thick white snowflake mat with a black stamp or a single mat in the color of your institution with a gold, silver, or back stamp.

 The wider look of the Vogue Diploma Frame and the thick mat distinguishes itself from the normal gold and silver metal frames and in tests seems to appeal to the younger consumer as it fits in with their contemporary décor.

TRADITIONAL WOOD  FRAME  

The "Traditional" wood diploma frame is constructed from solid hardwood with a finish that is best described as walnut coloured. This classic wood frame features an acid free double mat with the University crest tastefully emblazoned in gold.

The Bostonian profile is almost identical to the Traditional Wood frame but the Bostonian is mahogany in colour rather than walnut, the finish is more luminous and incorporates a gold trim accent. While the Traditional Wood frame is one of the largest selling diploma frames in the marketplace there is some concern that its traditional look is becoming dated. To help you attract your target market of younger buyers, the Bostonian Diploma frame will give you an updated look for only a few dollars more than the current Traditional Wood frame style.

BRIARWOOD FRAME

The "Briarwood" diploma frame is much more contemporary looking with a wider flatter profile and a satin  finish. The frame is available in a classic satin mahogany or satin black finish.  It is very popular with the graduates as opposed to the "Traditional" which is more popular with the parents. The "Briarwood"  diploma frame features an acid free double mat with the University crest tastefully emblazoned in gold.

The new Pyramid moulding is an impressive 2 inches wide and finished in a solid black satin. From the pointed crown of the moulding one side slopes toward the glass and the other side slopes sharply toward the edge of the moulding. This moulding takes its shape from a stylized look at the pyramids in Egypt. The Pyramid Diploma frame is totally different from all of the other mouldings and is priced between current Briarwood and Diplomat styles.

Rideau Frame

The Rideau is a very wide moulding (1.75”) with a trendy espresso finish. What makes the Rideau moulding completely different is that it has a scooped out profile rather than the existing mouldings that feature rounded crown profiles. The solid mass of the Rideau moulding gives a comfortable feeling of durability with a contemporary flair.

DIPLOMAT PLUS FRAME

Diploma framing is, to a certain extent, a style driven business and is always evolving as clients look for something different. The Diplomat Diploma Frame, which was just introduced a few years ago and thought to be the ultimate in a framing product, has undergone a style enhancement.

A suede mat, in the color of the institution, has been introduced to the Diplomat to give the mat surface more texture. The university or college crest is still tastefully emblazoned in gold but looks even more striking against the suede surface.

As well, a gold wood fillet has been added to the mat opening which highlights the diploma even more than a triple mat and gives the frame a three dimensional look.

EMBLEMATIC FRAMES with Stamped Logo

The Emblematic Frames are made with a wide (1.5”) contemporary moulding that is foiled stamped with your logo or word mark.

The Emblematic Frames are a major achievement in branded products as it marks the first time that the logo or word mark can be embossed directly on the wood itself rather than on the mat.

The Emblematic Frames are ideal frames for graduation portraits and hand shake photos. The Emblematic Frames have the advantage in that an 8x10 photo can be framed in an 8x10 frame rather than in an 11x14 frame with a mat. This means that the frame is smaller and less expensive but still emblematic.
